For 25 years, the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) has been a driving force behind NIU’s commitment to educational excellence. Through strategic faculty development and the integration of cutting-edge teaching technologies, CITL empowers educators and creates transformative learning experiences for generations of Huskies. From partnering with faculty to create engaging and inclusive online courses, to supporting NIU’s fully online learners, and helping instructors implement innovative strategies and tools—CITL is essential to fostering more inclusive, effective classrooms and advancing student success across the university.
