Help Support the NIU Observatory!

The NIU Observatory and Dept of Physics are putting together a public trip this spring to tour the Yerkes Observatory in Lake Geneva, WI.  The Yerkes Observatory is a beautifully historic campus which is also home to the world's largest refracting telescope. Recently renovated and reopened to the public, the Yerkes Observatory offers a unique glimpse into the history of physics and astronomy, as well as architecture and design.

All funds raised will be used to help cover travel expenses to and from Yerkes Observatory in Lake Geneva. Any remaining funds will be used towards the cost of the admission tickets.

Anyone donating $100 will receive 1 free ticket for the tour.
Anyone donating $150 will receive 2 free tickets.
Anyone donating $250 will receive 4 free tickets!
