The Women’s Excellence Fund empowers NIU’s female student-athletes to thrive in competition, in the classroom, and in life beyond athletics. Your support creates meaningful opportunities that strengthen their experience and prepare them for the future.

• Athletic & Academic Success – Helping student-athletes pursue their goals on the field and in the classroom.
• Community Engagement – Inspiring young girls through National Girls & Women in Sports Day and youth clinics in DeKalb and Sycamore.
• Professional Development – Connecting student-athletes with alumni and partners for mentorship, career preparation, and networking.
• Life Skills Training – Providing critical personal and professional growth opportunities, including etiquette training.
