The NIU Recreation Fund supports the enhancement of campus recreation facilities, equipment, and programs, helping students optimize their university experience. With your support, we can address aging facilities and rising costs while bringing meaningful improvements to the Recreation Experience.

• Modernized Interior Entryway – Updating the main entrance to create a welcoming space for students.
• New and Enhanced Fitness Equipment – Providing tools requested by surveyed participants to improve workouts and training.
• Relaxation Room Improvements – Enhancing spaces for student wellness and recovery.
