Help School of Interdisciplinary Health Professions Students!

We are students and faculty from NIU’s School of Interdisciplinary Health Professions, raising funds to support our current students towards their career trajectory and also better prepare our future health professionals in both the health sciences and rehabilitation counseling fields.

Donors should support our project as it will assist us in purchasing study resources for certification exams, tablets for clinical placements, assistive technology equipment, anatomical models, and support our goal in establishing a geriatric simulation feeding lab in alignment with some of our interactive learning goals of our Intro to Health Sciences course. A financial gift will directly impact the School in training knowledgeable, skilled, and patient-centered health professions that are career-ready upon completion of their degree.  Also, the items will extend the learning experience for students, offering practical tools that will assist with overall learning goals.

Budget information:

  • $1,500: CRC exam and credentialing study prep materials; student travel.
  • $1,200: Tablets for clinical placements.
  • $1,000: Assistive technology equipment.
  • $1300: Anatomical study models, geriatric simulation feeding lab supplies and setup.
