Students can participate in a unique, unforgettable opportunity to visit Cuba. Students will learn from Cuban specialists about the country’s renowned disaster risk reduction program and the cooperation between the government and non-governmental organizations. Help our students experience the history and culture of Cuba.
Help defray costs making this transformative experience affordable to Huskies. The trip is co-sponsored by the Center for Latino and Latin American Studies and the Center for Nonprofit and NGO Studies and will be hosted by Cuban NGO Fundación Antonio Núñez Jimenez.

Help feed our students in Cuba. Ropa vieja is considered the national dish of Cuba, where residents hold a special affinity for it.
Help our students visit the beautiful finca "La Vigia" (Hemingway House) located in the San Francisco de Paula district of Havana, about 24 km from Havana's city center.
Help our students stay in Old Havana, a UNESCO world heritage site. The city features a nearly perfect grid layout, Baroque and neoclassical architecture, monuments, and traditional-style buildings
