The University Honors Program at Northern Illinois University provides an enriched educational experience for motivated students to achieve greatness.
The University Honors Program was developed in 1968 after a year-long study by the then Council on Instruction and was created in 1969. This year marks the program's 55th anniversary, which is cause for current Honors Huskies and Honors alumni and friends to celebrate.
You can help current Honors students display their Honors Program pride by contributing to this fund, which will go towards purchasing merchandise for Honors students to wear and take with them all across campus and the DeKalb community. All Honors students should be able to share in their program pride!
The Honors Program needs your help to make it possible for our current Honors students to showcase their pride for a program that includes 55 years of specialized courses, engaged learning opportunities, signature events, and a close-knit community.
Honors students work hard inside and outside of the classroom. Pens are the perfect way to easily display some Honors pride in classes and with friends. A gift at this level will help cover costs of Honors pens for students.
