Who's the Goodest Boy in Illinois? An epic rivalry begins...
What? In the spirit of a friendly (but fierce!) rivalry, NIU and Western Illinois have locked paws in a giving challenge that'll boost both schools and crown one very good boy the ultimate champion. Join fellow Huskie alumni, students and friends with one goal in mind: BEAT WIU—on the field and through your generosity!
Why? Mission and Rocky are more than mascots; they're on a mission. Both have the grit to ensure their students rise to greatness, but when a rivalry dates back to 1903, it's only right to let some of that competitive fire spill into fundraising. In this game, everyone wins—especially our students.
When? NOW! The clock is ticking and your gift can change the game. The challenge ends on the big day—Saturday, August 31 at 1:30 p.m. (CST) followed by a 2:30 p.m. kickoff when our fighting Huskies take on the WIU Leathernecks!

UNLOCKED! Thanks to the generosity of NIU Chief Strategy Officer, Matt Streb and his wife Page, joined by other NIU community members, when donations reached $4,500, an additional $3,000 was donated to help make Mission the goodest boy!
