Our Crowdfunding Groups
Traditionally the Marching Band Alumni Council and members of the community have worked tirelessly to help raise money for the marching band in terms of scholarships. As a result of these efforts, and a great deal of support from NIU, every single member of the group now receives some level of scholarship assistance! Looking forward (together forward), the hard-working men and women of the band need quality instruments to support NIU and to help the band sound its very best.
This year our focus is on the current inventory of tenor saxophones which have been used so much (and in all sorts of weather) that they are getting difficult to repair. We want to be able to provide our students with high-quality instruments, so that the marching band will truly be “The Pride of the Midwest.”

$25-$49 - 16th Note Club
$50-$99 - 8th Note Club
$100-$249 - Quarter Note Club
$250-$499 - Half Note Club
$500-$999 - Whole Note Club
$1,000-$2,999 -. Fanfare Club.
$3,000+ - Fight Song Club. This level of funding allows for the purchase of a new Tenor Saxophone!
