Each year, NIU’s most passionate and dedicated supporters come together to keep the University moving forward by making a gift at the Leadership Society level of $1,000 or more. Leadership Society gifts, and the donors who make them, represent significant commitment to NIU. These gifts are the cornerstone of our annual fund success and are critical in allowing us to achieve our philanthropic goals each year.

When directed to the Huskies United Fund, these gifts allow NIU to continue to produce socially conscious citizens by keeping educational excellence, innovation, research and artistry moving forward. When directed toward general scholarship, these gifts ensure students have the opportunity to attend and graduate from NIU. When directed towards the Student Emergency Fund, these gifts give NIU the flexibility to quickly respond to a student’s urgent or critical needs when they arise.
