Our Crowdfunding Groups
NIU has established a Student Emergency Fund to provide assistance to NIU students facing temporary hardship related to, or exacerbated by, COVID-19. This support will help our students stay in school during this critical time so that they can graduate and join our proud Huskie alumni family.
Gifts to this fund provide students who are struggling with resources and funding to get access to technology, employment, housing, meals, transportation and other critical, basic needs.
100 percent of all gifts to the Student Emergency Fund are used to provide direct support to students in need.
The Student Emergency Fund is administered through a partnership comprised of the NIU Foundation; the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office; the Office of the Provost; Academic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and the Office of the Dean of Students.
Your gift will lend a helping hand to NIU students who need assistance, showing that when it comes to supporting our students, Huskies never quit.
